Life Reference Manual

Preface

Unlike the automobile or the computer, when we came into this world we did not come complete with an owner's manual.  Life is filled with difficult situations and challenging twists and turns.  So where do we turn for the definitive answer to life's questions?  We believe that the Life Reference Manual answers that question.  How can we be so bold as to say that this book contains definitive answers?  Very simply because the Life Reference Manual contains the number one best selling book of all time, the Holy Bible.

For thousands of years the Bible, God's Holy Word, has been recognized by many as the definitive answer for many of life's problems.  It is believed to be the standard by which life can be explained, and it offers credible answers to many of life's most troubling questions. Questions like:

       How did we get here?
       Why are we here?

       Why must we die?
       What happens when we die?

The Bible also offers help in the business arena, when dealing with emotions, finances, relationships, or healing, as well as help with the numerous problems that we face on a daily basis. The Bible is quick to offer a word of hope to those who stand upon its many promises by faith.

What makes the Holy Bible so unique?  Why is it the best-selling book of all time?  We believe it is because the Bible itself is inspired by God, as it claims to be:

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God . . .  2 Timothy 3:16

Now either that statement is true and all of Scripture is inspired by God, or it is false. If it is false, then the Bible itself tells lies and we cannot trust it.  Each of us must make our own choice. After reading the Bible in its entirety, millions have come to the conclusion that it is truly inspired by God.  The Apostle Paul said:

“. . . when you received the word of God which you heard from us,

you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth,

       the word of God . . .”  1 Thessalonians 2:13.

If the Bible truly is inspired by God Himself, then it is feasible to believe that it is His communication to all of mankind; a love letter to His creation whereby we can know God and learn from His ways.  Thus we felt there was no better source for this Life Reference Manual than the Holy Bible.

We believe you will find refreshing answers to many of life's questions, dilemmas, and problems within the pages of this reference work.  There is a section that answers some of life's most troubling questions entitled, "Questions of the Ages".  You will also find sections dealing with the following:

The Body    Business & Career    Emotions    Financial Matters    Health & Healing

Life's Problems Noble Characteristics    Relationships    Spiritual Concepts

We trust you will find this to be an invaluable reference as you maneuver your way through life's unique and challenging situations.  So read on, and see how this Life Reference Manual can be of assistance to you.
